St. Paul's Cathedral, London
By far one of my favorite panoramas from my trip to Europe back in February both visually and technically. Photographing St. Paul's was the cherry on top to a day of bicycling around London and visiting The Natural History museum. I had a much different idea of what I was photographing when I came to this location. However I got lost exploring the museum til they closed and practically got escorted out, needles to say I missed golden hour and thus the reflections on the windows in a corridor of the One New Change Building that directly faced the cathedral. It didn't take too much exploration to make my way to the roof top where I found this spectacular view of St. Paul's against London. After some consideration I decided to take each image of the panorama in a portrait orientation to maximize the vertical field of view to allow for an overall wider horizontal field of view with out creating a narrow composure. Each of the 7 images used to stitch this together were shot in three exposures only adjusting the shutter speed between 3.2 , 10, and 25 seconds. I kept the aperture at F11 for a large depth of field and sharp focus while the ISO was set at 50 to eliminate any noise and grain from the composure. I really enjoyed taking this picture and the feeling of exploration in a new place it left me with wrapping up a great day of travel.
